Travel further afield to the popular town of Killarney which has lots of things to do and see, such as sampling the range of traditional pubs, fine restaurants, Ireland's National Event Centre and a host of good shops.
Alternatively drive around the famous Ring of Kerry with its stunning scenery that will take your breath away.
Head in the opposite direction and you have Cork city or why not obtain the gift of eloquence by kissing the Blarney stone at Blarney Castle?
