A lovely four night stay and the cottage was so much better than we expected from the photos. A lovely four night stay and the cottage was so much better than we expected from the photos. The cottage is in a really quiet location and was really spacious and even with the terrible weather meant that we had plenty of space with 4 adults and 2 children. Most of the bedrooms are ensuite and there is a family bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need and the utility room with a washer and a dryer were really helpful to have. The only things I would say is that it could do with wifi and we would have been happy to pay extra for this so is something for the owner to think about. Also some of the soft furnishings and bedding upstairs could do with an update as they are a bit old fashioned but saying that everything was clean and tidy so not a big issue and we were out a lot exploring the peninsular. The cottage is really quiet and has a fantastic view of the hills behind and also the sea at the front. There is a mezzanine level with a sofa which is great for relaxing on and reading. Maharanees Beach is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring Connor Pass, Dingle, Fahan Beehive huts and the basket Islands visitor centre. The Peninsular is stunning even in bad weather. Castlgregory had some good pubs and shops for essentials. We would love to go back in the summer months when we could take advantage of the great water sports in the area. We would definitely book the cottage again.
