Noreen was a lovely host and very helpful. The house is in a very quiet area with wonderful views around from the upstairs picture window. The extensive and beautiful gardens around the house were fantastic for our daughter & dog to blow off steam. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful break in lovely scenery.

  • "What a stunning part of Ireland, never seen the sea so blue on our many coastal drives."

My stay was comfortable and great value for money. Norreen the lady who owns Ocean View ensured we were will informed of our visit down south to Cork and where to go, she has been very kind, welcome and friendly. We gave her two lovely dogs treats as a thank you gesture before we left. Was glad to have been able to bring my own little dogs too.

  • "The cottage was much better than we expected - the photograph of it doesn't do it justice."

Everything you could need was supplied. The proprietor was very nice and friendly, and although she lives beside the cottage, was unobtrusive. The location was perfect - out in the country. And although a few miles from the nearest town, it is quite central in the South West, so within a reasonable distance to all the tourist areas in either direction. The cottage is also at the end of a lane, has a large garden (well kept) and yard, and so is safe for children and dogs. It is also an ideal spot for leisure cycling as the wee country roads are definitely not busy. We really had a great time at Ocean View.
