    “This was one of the best cottages ...”
    This was one of the best cottages that I have stayed in for a holiday. It was comfortable, well equipped and you could not ask for a better location and view. I would not hesitate to book this cottage again. Many thanks for a great holiday and good service from Sykes Cottages.

About the location

CROSSHAVEN, COUNTY CORK

Cork 13 miles;

Crosshaven is a quiet and peaceful village is located just 13 miles for Cork City, at the point where the Owenabue River enters the sea at the mouth of Cork harbour and is home to stunning walks with some fantastic scenery. Drake's Pool known for its beauty is located just up the river from Crosshaven, and legend would have us believe that England's Sir Francis Drake used this spot to elude the Spanish Armada.The village is also home to the world's oldest yacht club, the 'Royal Cork', founded in 1720, and now hosts Cork Week every July, where sailors from all over the world come to be a part of the event.
