The property

This well-presented terraced cottage sits in the scenic village of Glengarriff in the Wild Atlantic Way in County Cork.

The coastal village of Glengarriff is on the Wild Atlantic Way and is home to a picturesque harbour and rows of pretty, colourful buildings set with the backdrop of some of Cork's most beautiful scenery.

A short walk will bring you into the heart of the village where you can enjoy a refreshing drink outside in the sun at one of the excellent traditional pubs.

The local Irish craft market offer some of Cork's most beautiful, individual pieces, all produced by local artists, making it the perfect place to hunt for your Glengarriff souvenir.

Take a boat trip to Garnish Island where you can walk the stunning gardens and observe the unusual plants.

Visit the fascinating sculptures set in the nearby Ewe Gardens, a unique attraction that will delight all ages with its fascinating fusion of art and nature.

Within a short drive from Glengarriff is the lively town of Kenmare, home to some of Kerry's finest craft shops and cafes.

With its seaside location, nature reserve and Glengarriff Golf Club, there is plenty on offer to cater to all tastes. There is an abundance of exciting walks available for all abilities in the area surrounding Glengarriff; enjoy a scenic riverside or forest stroll in the Glengarriff Nature Reserve or, if you’re feeling adventurous, enjoy a challenging walk in the Caha Mountains. The world-renowned Garnish Island, with its tropical gardens, ensures a memorable day out, while the popular Ewe Sculpture Garden is well worth a visit. A little further afield, visit Bantry House and Gardens, Kenmare for Macgillycuddy's Reeks, and Caha mountain range, or Castletownbere with Dunboy Castle. A great location not to be missed!
