We thoroughly enjoyed our week's holiday.

  • "The cottage is amazing in such a beautiful setting and was absolutely spotless when we arrived with everything you’ll need there."

The owners are so friendly and helpful full of local knowledge. There is sooo much to do there I could go on all day but here’s just a few The Healy pass is a must, kayaking with seals is 10 minutes away, check out the cove for a swim at the bottom of the hill right outside the cottage it’s beautiful. Go for a Guinness at the wild Atlantic bar 5 minutes away, the landlady is so nice. Go whale watching, dursey island is amazing. I could go on, but just go you’ll love it.

This holiday cottage was beautiful comfortable and felt like home, we hated leaving to go home We had everything we needed on site and beds were so comfortable and place spotlessly clean when we arrived The location was wonderful With small beach about a mile from us with the clearest water and the area was idyllic for walks Owner Finbarr was nearby if we had any issues-which we didn’t I highly recommend this lovely country cottage in west cork And we will book again - soon I hope

  • "The cottage was scrupulously clean and in a very beautiful place."

The little coves about 15 minutes walk down the hill were the best places for swimming we have ever been to. Everyone was friendly and helpful. When the cooker broke down the landlord got it replaced the next day, even though it was bank holiday weekend and he was off on a trip himself. We love swimming, kayaking and walking, but if you wanted more of a driving tour and visiting attractions then this is also a great location, for both West Cork and East Kerry.

  • "The most appealing features of this cottage are its location and views."

Sitting in the conservatory overlooking Bantry Bay is very relaxing. The house itself was warm and well equipped with a nicely appointed bathroom downstairs and shower upstairs. The kitchen has all that is necessary and the oil fired heating is very efficient, so good for a cooler weather break. The owner was very helpful and everything was appropriately laid back as you would hope to find in Ireland, even these days! A very happy week away, many thanks.
