  • "First of all a huge thanks to Sheila and Noel for welcoming us into their gorgeous house!"

The first moment we entered the house we were hooked by the charm and the sense of luxury in the open space of the living room and kitchen, everything is modern, comfortable and stylish! The sofas are very inviting, all of us enjoyed spending time there reading books, drawing, watching TV or just chatting. We had all the appliances we needed from kettle to toaster and 2 modern ovens, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. I particularly liked the idea of having different bins for bottles, paper, plastic and food waste. Moving upstairs in the bedrooms, they are all cosy and comfortable (my husband has back problems and he complained a bit about the mattress but me and my daughters slept like babies), the owners of the house prepared clean towels (more than enough for all of us). Rooms also come with hairdryer which was very helpful as we didn't have to share one for 3 people. What I like most is the fact that the house has 3 toilets and hot water so the shower was never crowded... The location is great, we could travel to Tralee (for the Aqua Dome), to Killarney for the amazing National Park, to Dingle for the Aquarium and to some of the local beaches. The view is great no matter the weather / time of the day, there are pubs, restaurants, take away and shops so one will have plenty of options for a night out / nice dinner in. The locals are celebrating King Puk's festival in August, that's probably an event that worth taking a trip to Killorglin during that time of the year. Long story short, we absolutely loved our stay in 35 Laune View! Thank you once again Sheila and Noel!

Laune View is a beautiful home which is well situated to visit the Ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way. The home was very clean and warm with plenty of room for 5 adults. Kitchen was well kitted out also. Would definitely go back. Thanks

The listing and photos don’t do it justice. One of the best places I’ve stayed. Great location, amazing property, decor & facilities better than home. Like home away from home with a little extra thrown in.

  • "We enjoyed 2 weeks in this lovely homely house in December."

I loved being by the river and the town of Killorglin and not far from lots of natural beauty spots. The hosts were kind and available if needed. This is the perfect place if you are looking for somewhere warm to relax for a while, close to restaurants with good food (and take away!) and in the heart of Kerry. There is plenty of space in the house so it was great for us as we worked from home during our stay. We felt completely at home, loved the style of the house including the tasteful Christmas decorations and hope to stay again. For those interested in hiking and exploring the Ring, Killorglin is a great place to have a base.

  • "What an incredible cottage in the most convenient location for exploring County Kerry."

The lovely owner met us when we arrived and we were amazed by the immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated cottage. The kitchen was well appointed and there was plenty of space for us and our baby to relax - although we spent most of our time outdoors, not a cloud in the sky for five days! Within easy reach was the Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Kerry, Killarney National Park and much much more. We would highly recommend staying here. It is good value and the owners are so friendly - we had a query about the travel cot which was sorted seamlessly. Excellent communication throughout.

  • "The photo's on your site of this property are spot on, an exceptionally high standard for a property of this age, exceptional views at the front, peaceful, decor restive to the eye, overall a very good holiday and we have already booked for next year."

Met Noel the owner on the Saturday morning, we spoke to him the Friday evening and explained we needed to park the car up as early as possible on the Saturday morning due to the local Puck Fair, which is always attended by thousands, he couldn't have been more helpful, coned the road off outside for us and we parked up nice and early. When we returned in the afternoon to get the keys he was again helpful, showed us around the house, explained all the amenities etc, very nice man. He and his wife Sheila have put a great deal of thought into this property and the welcome pack was thoughtful and not expected, we had taken coffee, tea, loo rolls etc with us, didn't need to have done, all provided and more. Many thanks Noel and Sheila. Hope we get to meet you next year Sheila, thank you for your hospitality and already counting down the days. Regards, Dave, Beth ,Tim and Michael.

  • "A beautiful cottage in a stunning location ideal for visiting Kerry, Beara, The Dingle and Killarney National Park."

The owners were helpful and welcoming and keen for us to enjoy the holiday as much as we could. The cottage itself was recently refurbished to an immaculate standard and had everything we could have needed and more besides. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and really felt like home. We did not want to leave. The location overlooking the river Laune was so special and Killorglin town with shops, restaurants and pubs was only a few minutes walk across the beautiful bridge. I would recommend this cottage to anybody and would definitely return.
