  • "A wonderfully appointed house in a great location."

Peaceful, isolated, restful, but still plenty to see and do if one wishes. How amazing to be able to see the night sky . It was just the two of us but 6 people would be comfortable here with plenty of space. And lots of toys, outdoor space, and games for kids too.

  • "We spent a wonderful fortnight in Curraha."

The house is homely and welcoming and the surroundings are awe inspiring. Excellent facilities with everything you could want and the owner Sinead is readily available if/when needed. Definitely rates as one of the best holiday homes we’ve stayed in. A great location from which to explore the Beara Peninsula, which has a photo-worthy view around every corner!

  • "Stayed here for a week with my family."

The house is extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and in an absolutely spectacular part of the world. The only down side is because of the location you have to do a lot of driving. But do not let that deter you from staying here.

Dark nights ensure good sleep and the views are just stunning. Location is good for exploring mountains or seafront, but shops, fuel and pubs/restaurants are further afield. Property owners are easy to keep in touch with and keen that you’re stay is enjoyable. Really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you

  • "The picture does not do this house justice."

I expected the cottage to be in some kind of valley, but in reality, it is halfway up a hill overlooking the most spectacular scenery of the bay and the mountain range behind it. The sunset alone is worth the stay. The house is extremely well appointed, comfortable, spacious and fully equipped. The area around it is simply stunning, the whole Berea peninsula is worth a visit, and we cannot wait to go back there again. We were extremely lucky with the sunshine, so we did not spend too much time inside the house, but I am sure even if it is cold and miserable the fireplace will keep you comfortable and cosy. Best place we ever rented.
