  • "The signage on site to the cottage is very poor."

You have a choice of a tarmac road that looks like it goes to the cottage or a dirt track that appears to go to a maintenance yard. I made the wrong choice! A small sign would be very useful

Hi David . Thank you very much for your comments with regard to signage i will make sure the eircode is included in future booking .Thank you for your stay in the Ring of Kerry Holiday Home and hope to see you again . regards. Patrick Property Owner

  • "This a lovely, clean and very spacious house and extremely well equipped in a most beautiful and peaceful location within the Ring of Kerry Golf Club a few miles from the small but vibrant town of Kenmare making it extremely convenient for shopping, eating and visiting the numerous bars."

Because of it's location a car really is necessary. There's just so many beautiful places to visit from the house and there are plenty of books and guides provided to help with planning where to go. We were a little apprehensive having read reviews of the approach road past the club house but we found it was absolutely fine and had no trouble finding it even in the dark. (We set the sat nav to the club house initially then to the holiday cottage address itself) We would love to return to this beautiful place.

It was fully equipped and the decor is stunning. It was immaculately clean. Beds so comfy. The views superb. A very short drive into the wonderful town of Kenmare, beautiful food and music. Having stayed in lots of holiday homes throughout Ireland we have all agreed this was a firm favourite and we hope to visit again in the future.

  • "The cottage is spacious, clean and comfortable."

It is a bit challenging to find and it is about a 5 minute drive into Kenmare. The washer is only a washer so drying your clothes is a challenge. Better instructions would be Helpful for the heater for people not used to that type of system. It is a lovely spot and the views are amazing.

Hi Jenny. Thank you very much for your kind comments .In future i will include the eircode which will help with the location of the house and up date the home uses manual for the heating . I look forward to seeing you again at the Ring Of Kerry Holiday home . Regards. Patrick Property Owner

Felt like home away from home. Great location too. We had a fantastic holiday despite some bad weather. The only real issues were no bathroom mats (the tiles were dangerously slippy) and a flooding downstairs shower room.

Hi Ian. Thanks for you comments nice to hear you had a great stay with us with regards to the approach road this road is owned by Sheen Falls and they are currently looking at putting a new approach road in the very near future . Hope to see you back very soon . Regards. Patrick Property Owner

We would have been delighted with it if it had provided a DVD/CD player like every other Cottage we have stayed at. Our carefully selected collection of DVD/CDs brought from home had to stay in the car.

All the cooking herbs and spices and much more left there for our use was a lovely jester thanks very much. We had a few minor issues 1) twin bed in bedroom not big enough for 2 people 2) driveway from road to cottages in very poor condition very badly pot holed and very hard on the cars. Still had a wonderful holiday. Thanks very much and hope to stay with them again Sean Garvey
