  • "The cottage was beautiful in such a scenic location, a few minutes from the Gap of Dunloe."

    It was very well equipped. All cleaning products and even condiments for cooking supplied. Padraig the owner was a lovely man, I knew we could call him if we had any issues, but the was none at all. Will definitely recommend this cottage.

    La maison est très joliment aménagée, confortable avec toutes les commodités souhaitables. Les propriétaires sont très cordiaux et à l’écoute. Par sa situation centrale, il est possible de rayonner sur toute la région de Killarney et du Kerry. It is a charming house in a typical Irish countryside. The house is very nicely furnished, comfortable with all the desirable amenities. The owners are very friendly and attentive. Its central location makes it possible to reach the entire Killarney and Kerry region.

  • "Property was spacious, in a quiet position."

    Nice design and decoration although it was a little dark. Range of equipment was good but could do with some sharp knives. There were lots of cobwebs everywhere!

  • "The Bridge View Cottage is well situated for touring around the Kerry peninsular, to Portmagee for the Skellig Islands (1 h), idem Dingle, the small strands and the mountains."

    The starting point Cronin to climb Carrountuohill is only 10 minutes drive and quite an experience.

  • "Our time spent at Bridge View in Beaufort, Cty Kerry was very relaxing and enjoyable."

    The cottage is extremely clean, comfortable and quaint with all the emenities one would need. It's a great location with views to the mountains and within walking distance of the Gap of Dunloe and the Beaufort Restaurant/Pub. The owner's were absolutely wonderful, very accommodating, and quite helpful. Access to Killarney, Killorglin, and the Ring of Kerry from this location is very easy and it's an easy drive to Shannon Airport or into Killarney to hop a train to Dublin or other areas. I'd highly recommned this cottage to any looking for wonderful accommodations in a peaceful and serene environ and we intend to stay again as we travel to Ireland often. This charming stone-built cottage is located next to the owner’s home on the outskirts of the quaint village of Beaufort in Killarney.

This lovely cottage is in an ideal location, with the sound of the nearby steam trickling by, for families and friends to enjoy this stunning part of Ireland.

This semi-detached cottage has been lovingly decorated and furnished to provide guests with all the features of a traditional Irish cottage, including a striking feature fireplace and beams.

Upon entering this delightful cottage, there is a bright and airy sitting room complete with a woodburner for extra warmth and luxury.

Delicious meals can be prepared in the fitted kitchen, which comes well-equipped for all your culinary needs.

Leading off the kitchen is a comfortable double bedroom which shares access to the ground floor shower room.

As you climb the quirky spiral staircase, a mezzanine bedroom awaits you, which overlooks the sitting room and offers plenty of space and glorious mountain views.

To the front of the cottage is a small patio area with furniture, where you can relax with a glass of wine and soak up the views of the impressive Gap of Dunloe in the distance.

Beaufort Village is home to two welcoming pubs and a local supermarket, and is the perfect base for your Kerry adventures with superb access to all of Kerry’s attractions.

Just a short drive away is the famous town of Killarney, home to the Killarney lakes, Ross Castle, Muckross House and Gardens, with plenty of traditional pubs, eateries and craft shops to sample.

Why not put on your walking boots and set off along the many walking routes across the region?

Cycle tours can also be arranged directly with the owner, should you wish to see the area on two wheels.

Day trips, include exploring the breathtaking Ring of Kerry, encompasses jaw dropping seascapes, stunning coastal scenery and delightful towns and villages along the way.

A truly wonderful time will be had here at this attractive cottage.

About the location


Killorglin 8 miles; Killarney 8 miles.

Beaufort is a small village situated in a scenic area at the foot of the Macgillycuddy Reeks near the Gap of Dunloe. This is a great location for walking with stunning mountain views. The village has shops, pubs and restaurants, and is situated between Killorglin and Killarney, the latter being a mecca for holidaymakers every year with its wide open countryside, beaches close at hand, annual festivals and great night life, with traditional music played in many of the pubs and bars. A host of activities are available in the area including riding, walking, cycling, golf and fishing, and guided ascents to summit of Carrauntoohil, Ireland's highest mountain.
