Set in a slightly elevated position, this cottage near Rathmore is perfect for hill walkers and offers wonderful views of the surrounding hills and fields, and the patio garden is the perfect place to settle for lunch in the sun, with the backdrop offering a sense of escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The village of Rathmore is located in the mountainous region of the Sliabh Luachra, known for its traditional music and culture, and you are sure to enjoy a true Irish experience in many of the local pubs.

Just under half an hour’s drive will take you to the town of Killarney, where you can meander the streets, root through the boutiques and markets for treasured keepsakes, spend time in the galleries and then treat yourself to a gourmet lunch in one of the many delicious restaurants.

Killarney National Park, just a little further, offers a great day out for all ages, but be sure to bring your camera!

Other attractions within easy reach include pony trekking, cycling, golf and tours along the Ring of Kerry.
