  • "Lovely house, photos don’t do it any justification far better than expected, very clean and tidy, very peaceful, we will be back next year!"

Only one small negative the mattress in the rooms could do with updating however this is only a minor issue! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

  • "A lovely spacious house with every facility provided."

I will mention a few pointers that might make it an even better experience. The couch in the kitchen definitely needs to be replaced. Also it would help to have blinds on the downstairs bedroom windows as the curtains are extremely thin and do not block any light. It was a bit inconvenient not having a shower in the main bathroom as the occupiers of 2 of the 3 downstairs bedrooms had to pass through the master bedroom to use the shower in the en-suite. It would also be useful to have WI-FI in the house as it’s now part of everyone’s lives. However in general none of the above took away from our enjoyment of the house. We had a TV issue which was sorted promptly by Martina. I would definitely recommend this house for large groups and we were delighted to be able to bring our little dog.

There was ten of us and it had plenty of space. Garden perfect for 4 kids. Very close to all amenities- aquadome 20-30 minutes away, glenbeigh prob similar distance if not less. Killarney about same as well.

Hi Kristina im really sorry that you felt you had to leave a bad review on my property considering that you never even arrived at the house... It is standard that a full refund could not be issued on the day of arrival... If you had taken out insurance im sure it would have covered your loss.... I dont think it is very fair to leave a bad review on my cleanliness etc when you never actually arrived.. Martina Property Owner

  • "We absolutely loved this cottage with all its space which for a family of 6 was simply amazing ,views are stunning from every window in an amazing location isolated yet only approx 10 mins into town Martina was always a message away for questions and decorated the cottage beautifully for Xmas ."

Cooking was so easy with every appliance and pots and pans imaginable , we would definitely go back here our only slight niggle was the sofa and chairs in the kitchen which were broken so we're uncomfortable but the lounge was superb

Our friends and their two children. 4 adults and 5 children. The house had everything we could have needed, lovely and spacious with plenty of indoor & outdoor space. Great having the bbq too. The children loved feeding the horses at the back. Only 5 mins from Killorglin and a short drive to lots of beautiful beaches. The host was also extremely helpful.

  • "We loved the cottage and its location!"

The only problem that we had was it was difficult for use to communicate with the owner. We were in Scotland a week before arriving in Ireland. We couldn't reach her , even though we called for we left the USA. We finally got hold of her the day before we arrived at the cottage so we knew where the key was. She failed to tell us that she had sent us an email about the cottage. I read it after we got home. It took us awhile but we finally figured everything out about the cottage. It was a lovely place and had everything that we needed while there. The beds could have been more comfortable. My granddaughter loved playing with the dollhouse.

  • "Great base for touring the Ring of Kerry."

As this is a self catering facility, I would always suggest you purchase all your food and essentials prior to travel. The village of Milltown is the closest and has a small Spar shop and a Londis garage, with more stores in Killorglin. The takeaway in Milltown 'Mr Kebab' is horrible, do not eat there, so take your food for the first night for sure. Killorglin has some great takeaways including Sethu Indian.

The location is great, nice and peaceful yet close to all that County Kerry has to offer. • "This is a lovely house central to Killarney, Tralee and Dingle for those touring around."

The property is just like the pictures what you see is what you get a comfortable home from home. There were nine of us (4 adults and 5 children) and there was room for a few more. The only issue we had was the washing machine not working one morning but one text to the owner and it was fixed the same day, so no complaints at all. The owner was in contact with us before and during our holiday which was lovely, we felt like a guest in their home and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this to anyone with children or without who wants a place they can call home whilst on holiday. Would definitely go back and stay again.
