  • "We absolutely loved this cottage with all its space which for a family of 6 was simply amazing ,views are stunning from every window in an amazing location isolated yet only approx 10 mins into town Martina was always a message away for questions and decorated the cottage beautifully for Xmas ."

Cooking was so easy with every appliance and pots and pans imaginable , we would definitely go back here our only slight niggle was the sofa and chairs in the kitchen which were broken so we're uncomfortable but the lounge was superb

  • "The house is amazing, we stayed here with our three children."

Our friends and their two children. 4 adults and 5 children. The house had everything we could have needed, lovely and spacious with plenty of indoor & outdoor space. Great having the bbq too. The children loved feeding the horses at the back. Only 5 mins from Killorglin and a short drive to lots of beautiful beaches. The host was also extremely helpful.

  • "We loved the cottage and its location!"

The only problem that we had was it was difficult for use to communicate with the owner. We were in Scotland a week before arriving in Ireland. We couldn't reach her , even though we called for we left the USA. We finally got hold of her the day before we arrived at the cottage so we knew where the key was. She failed to tell us that she had sent us an email about the cottage. I read it after we got home. It took us awhile but we finally figured everything out about the cottage. It was a lovely place and had everything that we needed while there. The beds could have been more comfortable. My granddaughter loved playing with the dollhouse.

  • "Great base for touring the Ring of Kerry."

As this is a self catering facility, I would always suggest you purchase all your food and essentials prior to travel. The village of Milltown is the closest and has a small Spar shop and a Londis garage, with more stores in Killorglin. The takeaway in Milltown 'Mr Kebab' is horrible, do not eat there, so take your food for the first night for sure. Killorglin has some great takeaways including Sethu Indian.

  • "We had a lovely time at Stephen's Cottage."

Martina was an amazing host, making sure we were comfortable and had all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The house itself is lovely, with room to spare for all of us (5 adults, 2 kids) and great kitchen and living facilities to help us feel right at home. The location is great, nice and peaceful yet close to all that County Kerry has to offer. I would definitely recommend Stephen's Cottage to any families or groups looking for a comfortable, peaceful getaway.

  • "This is a lovely house central to Killarney, Tralee and Dingle for those touring around."

The property is just like the pictures what you see is what you get a comfortable home from home. There were nine of us (4 adults and 5 children) and there was room for a few more. The only issue we had was the washing machine not working one morning but one text to the owner and it was fixed the same day, so no complaints at all. The owner was in contact with us before and during our holiday which was lovely, we felt like a guest in their home and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this to anyone with children or without who wants a place they can call home whilst on holiday. Would definitely go back and stay again.

  • "The property is in an excellent location."

We visited Tralee, Killarney, Dingle, Killorglin, Glenbiegh and many other small towns. The accommodation holds a large group very easily with scope for people to relax in the main sitting room away from the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. It is beautifully furnished with everything you need for a large group of people. We enjoyed our stay here so much we hope to return again for another holiday.
