  • "Lovely situation: views over to Carrauntoohil and the Reeks."

Tucked away in a nice quiet spot: on a clear night, the view of the stars was amazing. Great location for hiking and biking, although the climb up the hill at the end of the day is tough on the legs! Kerry and family were very friendly.

  • "House was clean and on good location."

Not very luxurious considered the price range. Heating was scheduled automatically and not always to our comfort. (Cold) Washing machine available, but no dryer so very hard to get towels and clothing dry. Noisy dog was locked up every night in doghouse next too (!!) the rented bungalow bedroom.

  • "The house and views were amazing, house was spotless and nice."

The only complaint is the heating never came on so the house was cold. We were told by the hosts to not attempt to mess with the buttons that the hearing was on a timer but it wasn't, so in the evenings there was a bit of a chill. The hosts did not check In with us during our stay either. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

Very rural and quiet, and only a few miles from Killarney. Had a very enjoyable stay there.

  • "We had a lovely week here during our stay in Kerry."

The house is slightly more remote than expected but we had no trouble finding it. You won't have any mobile phone reception at all due to the location but Wi-Fi is included and works fine (which also includes Netflix for the rainy days). The location of the property is perfect for any holidays in Kerry. It's near the ring of Kerry and just a short drive from Killarney, the Carrauntoohil, the Gap of Dunloe and many other amazing places in the area. Kerry, the owner was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. An occasional visit from one of the many pets on the property made this a great experience overall. If you plan to visit Co. Kerry and Ard Na Glen is available, don't hesitate to book it, you won't regret it.

  • "Although it’s in a rural setting it is ideal for getting away from it all."

It’s a great location for seeing so much of County Kerry. The house is modern and clean and provided so much of what’s needed. The WiFi could’ve been better but I guess the remote setting doesn’t help it. But all in all I would recommend it and would have no hesitation in returning again.

Wonderful quiet in the hills but only 20'min by car to different great places in Killarney and surrounding. Kerry is a great host. We spent a fantastic week there.

  • "Ard Na Glen was lovely, it was spotlessly clean and warm and had everything we needed for a lovely holiday and what views from every window, it was so quiet and peaceful, the resident animals the dogs, cats, sheep and pony were all a plus."

It was an easy drive to Killarney (about 10 miles), the ring of Kerry, the Dingle and the Beara peninsulas. It was about a 2 minute drive to The Gap of Dunloe which was stunning. All in all a fabulous holiday in a fabulous part of the world

  • "Ard Na Glen was an ideal base for our family holiday in County Kerry."

It lies 4km from the entry to Hags Glen, and has four golf courses within 12km in Beaufort and Killarney . There were a least three blue flag beaches within an hours drive. Cottage is in a small valley, with beautiful views of the hills. The description is completely accurate and we had a great week.
