“It was lovely to arrive at 9pm to find easy access along with a ltr of fresh milk, a pkt of biscuits and the makings of tea and coffee.”

Outside of 3 issues this house is fine for a comfortable stay. A well equipped kitchen with all one would need for preparing a meal. The 1st issue causing a problem here is the gas cooker. The oven is fine but the burners are badly in need of a cleaning. None of them offer a strong enough flame for most cooking needs. The microwave is fine. The house offers great space and comfortable seating and dining facilities. The 2nd issue causing some difficulty here is a lack of information on using the TV with 2 Remotes and such a small screen for a lovely large room. The back garden is a lovely size and offers great opportunities for catching the last of the sun. The 3rd issue causing a problem here is the lack of a table. We found, what was probably the table, in a broken condition beside the oil tank. Thankfully we had our own 2 small tables and fold-up picnic chairs which filled this gap. Overall we had a very enjoyable week in the cottage with easy Wi-Fi connectivity and short walk to the railway station.
