  • "Our Cottage (Burke Cottage) in Lismore Co."

    Waterford was comfortable and clean.The large decked area was great for relaxing and for the dogs. The cottage was In a great location within the town. lots of great walks within the local area.Teresa the caretaker lives opposite and was always at hand to address any minor issue's.

  • "There are no towel rails or hooks in the bathroom or en suite, and the fan does not remove the condensation, so the towels had to be taken into the utility every day to dry out."

    The en suite has no toilet roll holder either. The plug mechanism bath did not work - it had to be pulled up manually, which was a problem for 93 year old arthritic fingers (and my nails) and Luckily we always carry a universal plug in our wash bag but I had to go and by another from the local hardware store as the bathroom hand basin plug did not fit properly and the water kept draining away Apart from those relatively minor inconveniences, we were very happy with the cottage and Theresa was very helpful on our arrival and in sorting out access to the off road parking - perhaps a sign could be made for the gates to prevent others parking across the entrance? We definitely intend to book Burke Cottage again

  • "The cottage met our every need and having the enclosed garden for the dogs was brilliant."

    The garden is not escape proof but this was not an issue for our girls. The beds were very comfy and nothing was missing from the cottage, there was even some milk so we could make a drink on arrival.
