  • "Although it states pets welcome, It was bit unexpected to pay 25 Euros for the pet on arrival."

I think this does need explaining and the amount to be charged in the advert

  • "The photos of the cottage were not up to date, when asked for an update we were told this was not possible, the place itself was dirty, there was food on the table, all the cupboards including cutlery were not clean, the fridge freezer door was broken."

Although the standard of the house was more modern than the photos the place itself was just unclean. Upon arrival we were asked to give a €60 deposit every though we had spend €1200 for just 2 weeks, this was unknown to us and is not made clear on the website - I called up Sykes and my response was not activated on and nothing was heard after this complaint. There is an electricity meter that we could not keep track of in order to see how much electricity we were using. The gentleman himself seemed nice and got us kitchen knives on request due to the bluntness of the other ones but just the general cleanliness of the cottage made the house unwelcoming and yucky - I would not recommend for the price
