Great location to beach and ring of kerry House was great and spotless clean. Great location to beach and ring of kerry Miss Farinaite July 2018 “The cottage was easy to find once given a postcode and as we arrived late the owner was helpful in telling us where the key will be left.” They also advised to be aware that the door is tricky to unlock so we didn’t accidentally snap the key in the door. The first impression wasn’t the nicest as we noticed how filthy the floor in the living area was and it needed a good mop, exploring further we found rubbish in the wardrobe of one of the double rooms. This rubbish included the adhesive from female pads. As there was only two of us we simply decided not to use that room however it made us question the cleanness of the place. The cottage didn’t include any information or welcoming pack which was slightly frustrating as we had to look around and guess ourselves how to turn on the heating or heat the water, personally I believe that if you are renting a cottage as a holiday home this should be standard, however this might just be my opinion. One of the mornings we woke up thinking someone is walking around the cottage or trying to get in, which gave us a bit of a fright. Turns out it was someone that came out to cut the lawn. It would have been nice to have had a bit of notice so we didn’t wake up frightened after a late night, but again that could just be a personal opinion. Apart from that, the views are nice from the kitchen and living room, and the tranquillity of the area of the evening is beautiful. Dear Miss Farinaite, Firstly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to write your review about your stay. While we always endeavour to provide an enjoyable stay for our guests, we were saddened to learn that you felt you did not have this experience at Links View. We have been welcoming guests for a number of years now, with many returning year upon year to us, and have always received positive comments regarding the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our guests have experienced, for which we take great pride.
