The property

Situated in the delightful coastal townland of Colla, two miles outside the village of Schull in County Cork, is this modern, three bedroom holiday cottage which can sleep up to six people.

This bungalow provides excellent spacious quality accommodation for a family or group as well as spectacular sea views out over the Atlantic Ocean.

It is possibly one of the most beautiful stretches of spectacular scenery and unspoilt countryside.

Entering the spacious hallway through the front door, one is immediately greeted by a very attractive dining room, pleasantly decorated with houseplants.

To your left is a large sitting room with a comfortable sofa and two armchairs, comfortably seating five adults, a woodburning stove, and television.

Back across the hallway, you will find the open plan kitchen and dining area.

A dining table features a breakfast table with two stools and chairs easily seating six sit next to the large window, with stunning, countryside views.

The kitchen has a large window with stunning countryside views of the surrounding islands.

The fitted kitchen features an island counter, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and gas oven and hob.

Washing machine and tumble dryer are provided in the utility room to the rear of the kitchen.

The warm wooded kitchen, decorated with colourful hand painted tiles also provides seating overlooking stunning views.

This property provides three good-sized bedrooms, one with en-suite, all with views over the surrounding countryside.

There is also a family bathroom which is spacious and brightly decorated.

Outside the property is a parking area for four cars and private gardens to the front and rear.

The rear garden includes decking and patio furniture, providing a comfortable outside living space, while the front is a mix of lawn and gravel.

Both gardens are private and fully enclosed providing a safe area for children to play.

Two miles from the property in the local village of Schull, you will find the local pubs, for that traditional Irish craic; as well as shops for supplies and restaurants, for when you don't feel like cooking.

Schull country market, open every Sunday from Easter, hosts a wide variety of local artisan foods and products.

Schull also boasts an eclectic range of shops and boutiques all waiting to tempt you.

A short further journey along the coast will take you to Barley Cove Beach with its golden sands and turquoise waters, the visitor centre and cliff walks along the Mizen Head.
