  • "Lovely location, nice hosts, friendly neighbours."

Although the house was comfortable, we found the furniture and fittings wanting. I mentioned to the hostess, that the upstairs beds were in need of new mattresses. The house has the potential to be top-notch, but is badly is need of regular and competent TLC. If the necessary improvements were made, we would have no difficulty recommending this house to others. A return visit is, however, not in the planning.

  • "The cottage was unbelievably wonderful in every aspect."

The large open plan kitchen/living room was great, facilities in the kitchen were excellent. The views, which the web site images do not show how good they are were out of this world. Looking across Roaring Water Bay over to several islands including Castle Island and Clear Island over towards Baltimore and of course the Fastnet Rock Lighthouse (flashing away at night) will never be forgotten. Really easy distances to several wonderfully coloured towns of wgich Schull was one of the best. If Michelin starts were ever given for holiday accommodations, this would certainly have one!
