"Very relaxing paecful place, nice hostes, lovely animals:Molly and Sally and the horses."
Will definately recomend.
"Went home early as there was no separate room to put our dog at night, which made it difficult to sleep."
"Ryans loft is a really good base for touring around the south east of Eire."
The loft itself is cosy and plenty big enough for 2 people. The only negatives were the oven didnt work on the cooker and there is very little work surfaces/shelve spaces and any that there was is taken up by personal nic nacs ie ornaments and plastic flowers. All in all with the above changes (at very little expense) Ryans Loft would be an ideal holiday rental.
Thank you for your feedback. The oven is in perfect order. For use, it is required to be switched on at the mains. Property Owner
"Possibly the best holiday we’ve had in years."
We left Ardfinnan with memories we will treasure. Breda and Fintan spared no effort to make us feel welcome and we cannot speak highly enough of the cosy, authentic experience of Ryan’s Loft.

"The property was as advertised and the owners very friendly."
The only problem we found is that it is rather remote.
"Location and property were ideal and caretaker was brilliant"
"Lovely peaceful location."
"I booked this last minute (night before) but it wasn't a problem."
The owner met me and showed me around the flat, she had left in milk, butter, some fruit and freshly baked buns. There was also tea, coffee and other condiments. It was very comfortable and quiet, relaxing. I had my dog with me and we went on lovely walks up the lane or into the village. The location was central for a lot of places and I travelled to a few of the historic places. The owner was very helpful and shared some of the history of the farm and surrounding areas. I would go here again and strongly recommend it.
"My husband and I wanted a quiet, central location to stay as a home base for our trips to Clonmel, Cahir, Cashel, Lismore, Dungarvan, as well as exploring the walking trails and mountains all around."
"Ryan's Loft was a great place for what we needed! It was very peaceful; the town is very small but lively and pretty. The owners were wonderful and we even became friends shortly into our 9 night stay! Expectations were exceeded in MANY ways. We WILL certainly be back. The cottage/loft itself is rustic and very homey and comfy. It's absolutely perfect for a simple getaway in the country with all the country charm and character! There are lots of travel books in a basket left by other travelers, and there are all sorts of spices, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and butter and other cooking basics ready for use. Our holiday was very memorable, and a lot of that was because of our fantastic hosts!

About the location
ARDFINNAN, COUNTY TIPPERARY
Cahir 6 miles; Clonmel 8 miles; Lismore 20 miles.
Ardfinnan is a small village situated close to the Knockmealdown Mountains on the River Suir, in the south of County Tipperary. The village features a beautiful open green, several good pubs, a shop, and Ardfinnan Castle, an impressive Norman construction hovering majestically in the centre of this picturesque village. Just eight miles away, the lively town of Clonmel lies close to the border of Tipperary and Waterford. The town is probably most famous for being the home of Magners Cider and has a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Full of history, Clonmell is the only town in Ireland that managed to hold off Oliver Cromwell’s New Model Army during his siege on Ireland in the 17th century, using the tactics of General O’Neill, the townsfolk were evacuated to safety. The nearby Nire Valley offers many walking and cycling opportunities, with the Comeragh Mountains as an impressive backdrop. Ardfinnan is close to the M8 motorway, providing easy access to County Cork and Dublin, the perfect base for exploring Ireland, all year round!
