The property

Plum Tree Cottage is a renovated cottage sitting on a country road between Limavady and Ballykelly, Northern Ireland and is NITB accredited.

Internally, the property has been restored into a modern and contemporary holiday home with a warm, welcoming feel.

The open-plan living room includes excellent artwork, wooden beams and an electric fireplace that adorns the room, giving it a cosy feel to relax in after site-seeing or just returning from your country walk in The Roe Valley Park.

The dining room, with its antique side board, real old style fire place, chair and clock would have you enjoying your meals in style.

The well equipped kitchen that looks out over the Roe Valley and pristine garden and decking area of this beautiful cottage will leave any cook in awe of the surrounding countryside.

All rooms are located on the ground floor, and it houses three bedrooms; two double and one single.

Each bedroom is decorated with Egyptian cotton sheets and modern bedroom furniture with warm lighting to put you in a relaxing mood before retiring for a restful sleep.

There is a separate family bathroom and WC which includes a heated towel rail and a light up mirror, keeping the room bright in order for you to get ready for your day ahead.

Outside there is a large garden with a small decking area.

Limavady is an excellent tourist attraction, as it houses plenty of cafés, pubs and restaurants in the local area.

There are five activity centres nearby, with fun and games for the whole family, as well as a multitude of leisure centres and museums.

Interestingly, this village is home to Broighter Gold Rapeseed Oil, supplying Ireland and the UK with a premium cold pressed product to be enjoyed on salads and in many different recipes.

The Causeway Coastal Route, which the property is on is well worth exploring and Game of Thrones locations can be seen in the local area.

You can book a tour of the farm, learn all about the pressing and bottling rooms and discover the beautiful countryside of Broglasco.

Binevenagh mountain is an area of natural beauty in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland with panoramic views from the summit stretch for miles, on a clear day you can also see Scotland, it lays over the town of Limavady.

Explore the Derry City walls in Londonderry, walk across Peace Bridge and spend an afternoon in St Columb's Park.

Limavady is a market town in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Limavady and its surrounding settlements derive from Celtic roots, with an estimated date from around 5 CE. The town developed from a small Plantation settlement founded by Sir Thomas Phillips. In 1610 Sir Thomas Phillips was granted 13,100 acres of land at Limavady which included an O’Cahan castle. He commenced the building of the ‘Newtown of Limavady’ which was laid out in a cruciform road pattern. There are plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants in the local area. There are five activity centres nearby, with fun and games for the whole family, as well as a multitude of leisure centres and museums. Limavady lies in the scenic Roe Valley area and the Roe Valley Country Park on the River Roe lies to the southwest of the town.
