Through the living room is the traditional cottage kitchen with a lovely slate floor, a solid fuel range and everything you need to create delicious home-cooked meals.

Another sitting area has additional sofas and double French doors leading out onto the lawned garden.

The property features a family bathroom with bathtub and separate shower cubicle, and 2 bedrooms: one double and one double and single.

Throughout this charming cottage there are a wealth of period features such as original fireplaces, and there are quirky character touches everywhere.

These are skilfully combined with all the facilities you need for a real country cottage feel with all the modern conveniences.

Behind the green wrought iron gates, the fully enclosed garden is laid to lawn with parking for 3 cars.

Backing onto woodland alive with the local wildlife, you're likely to see a pine marten as you sip your morning coffee.

This is an incredibly peaceful and tranquil spot to enjoy a glass of wine after a hectic day enjoying everything that County Donegal has to offer.

There are beautiful country walks and peaceful bike rides on the doorstep and the local shops and restaurants of Tober are just a short drive or bike ride away.

Further afield are the riches of the rugged Donegal coastline with its white sandy beaches and the beautiful Glenveagh national park with its spectacular deer forest.

The nearest large town is Ballyshannon with its vibrant mix of shopping, bars and restaurants and cultural activities including an annual drama festival and the international Rory Gallagher festival, an annual celebration of rock and blues music.

Further afield you can enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the Wild Atlantic Way that bends round the coastline of County Donegal.

Ballyshannon, which means ‘The Mouth of Seannach's Ford’, is located at the mouth of the River Erne and home to a range of shops, restaurants and pubs. It looks out over the Erne Estuary and has panoramic views of mountains, lakes and forests. Each year, the town holds the Ballyshannon Folk & Traditional Music Festival, one of Ireland's longest running festivals, attracting people from all over. Next to the town is Assaroe Lake, where you can try your hand at fishing or if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, some watersports! A short drive away, the Bundoran Golf Club is an 18-hole course situated on the coastline of Donegal Bay with views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Dartry Mountains. Visit Donegal Town and at its centre, Donegal Castle, or when the weather is fine, make a trip to the Blue Flag beach at Rossnowlagh; its long, sandy beach is perfect for walking along and the surf is perfect for sailing and beginner surfers.
