  • "Hi the directions to the property are poor ."

It states that the property is on the right off main street. Which it is not .It should state turn left at the flower basket shop and then turn left again after the recycling centre and then property is located in the cul de sac . Also there was no lnfo related to refuge bins . Also no fuel or information on central heating as stated because it dropped cold during our stay .A welcome pack is always a nice touch as we have experienced in previous accommodation we have booked with sykes. However on request as our ferry was cancelled they left us a pint of milk. Also as non smokers there was a strong smell of smoke as we entered the property which lingered through out our stay .

Hi Steven, We are keen that all of our guests have an enjoyable stay and so thank you for your feedback. We have had many guests stay at the property however this is the first piece of feedback we've had concerning the directions to the property. Therefore, we've reviewed and amended the directions to take your comments into account. Concerning the bins, we arrange for rubbish to be disposed of so all we would ask of guests is that they put bin bags in the bins at the front of the property. Also, concerning the heating, there is a Hive in the lounge so guests can control the temperature of the property to make themselves most comfortable. We were not in the area at the time you requested the milk to be left in the fridge for you at very late notice but nevertheless we were happy to accommodate this. Finally, a previous guest did smoke at the property and we have taken steps to remedy this. Best wishes, Property Owner

The property

Nestled a stone’s throw away from the heart of the village of Belleek in Northern Ireland’s County Fermanagh is 25 Old Station Road.

This riverside cottage sleeps up to six guests across three bedroom and boasts wonderful feature such as a conservatory overlooking Belleek Marina, a large garden with decked area, garden furniture and pond with stunning views of the River Erne and a central location, making it a wonderful dwelling for a family getaway to Belleek.

After a busy day exploring the countryside or the famous Wild Atlantic Way, snuggle up on the plush corner sofa while the TV plays and the open fire roars in the background.

As the designated chef whips up a tasty meal in the fully-equipped kitchen, plan your itinerary for the trip at the dining table and marvel at the panoramic views over Belleek.

Later in the evening head outside with a glass of wine in hand to soak up the last of the sun while watching the boats dock in the marina.

When sleep calls choose from one of three bedrooms; there is a double with en-suite bathroom, a twin and a bunk room serviced by a family bathroom.

Be sure to get some well-earned rest before another busy day.

The centre of Belleek is just a short walk from the cottage and houses a few shops to ease your self-catered stay, The Lemon Tree Coffee house and a few local pubs including The Fiddlestone and The Black Cat Cove which are great for the nights when you don’t fancy cooking.

The village is an idyllic spot for riverside walks or boat trips to the nearby town of Enniskillen where you can traverse the historic castle and immerse yourself in local history at its two museums, whilst being a angler’s paradise for salmon, trout and pike fishing.

Belleek Pottery is also a must-visit, just a short walk away from Marina House, sitting upon the picturesque bank on the River Eme.

The town of Ballyshannon is just a short drive over the border, as is Bundoran with its sandy beaches, favoured by avid surfers, and views over the sea; the kids will be sure to love Waterworld and Bundoran Adventure Park which are also in the town, along with local surfing lessons.

Various golf courses are also a short journey away, including Lough Erne resort, a previous host to G8 summit, whilst nature fans can take to Fermanagh Lakelands, by hiring a boat and travelling towards neighbouring villages.

Choose 25 Old Station Road as the base for your next Northern Irish adventure.
