Right on the seafront and within walking distance of Buncrana. Paula was very helpful and accommodating. Despite there being a restaurant downstairs the place was very quiet. Would definitely recommend

  • "My family and I absolutely loved our stay at the Beach House Apartment!"

The location is superb. The apartment is literally on the beach. The views of the water are amazing. Every window of the apartment has outstanding views. The apartment is also furnished to a very high standard and has everything you could need for your stay. There is plenty of parking outside. The apartment is in an ideal location to explore Donegal. Buncrana itself has plenty of bars, restaurants, shops. There is even a play park a short distance from the apartment which my kids loved. I would highly recommend this apartment and hope to be able to go back and stay there again.

Thank you very much Louise for that great recommendation. I am delighted. you enjoyed the place as much as I do. Best wishes Brendan Property Owner

  • "It was a very comfortable and clean apartment, and just what we wanted."

It was well equipped for our needs, without any unnecessary extras. The only point to raise is that there needed a bit more clarity about where the refuse bins were, but this was a very minor issue. It certainly didn't affect our enjoyment of our stay, or our expectations, which were just what we've come to rely on with Sykes Cottages. We will be recommending it without a doubt! Thank you.

Will sort the rubbish bins issue Chris. Thank you for the feedback and I agree. Sykes give a great service to us as well as you. Thank you very much Brendan Property Owner

  • "I spend a week in this apartment with my husband and two children age 5 and 7."

First impressions were that it was nicer than the photos. Comfortable beds, twin room beds were great, one bed was a futon which I was delighted with as I was worried my 5 year old would fall out of the bed! No upstairs toilet but that didn't bother us. Paula was very helpful, we didn't meet her but she was at the end of the phone and was quick to reply to texts. We had an enjoyable week travelling around Inishowen, and fanad peninsula.

  • "I have been holidaying at the Beach Apartment for four years and love the setting so much."

As a hiker it is a dream location. However the recently opened restaurant next door is proving to be a problem, mainly because it is open all day until late. This means ( understandably) people wish to walk along the beach after their meal.As such there is quite a volume of people using what had been almost a quiet and dare I say it private beach. This occurred at xmas, so although I will book again for the Spring,I am concerned it will be more populated and therefore noisier. Time will tell.

  • "Paula, our contact for the duration of our stay, could not have been more helpful in organising the keys, apartment etc for us."

We had a great time and loved the location and atmosphere of the apartment. All of our needs were catered for, a stair gate was even provided as we have two small children, this was not something we had thought of and were delighted to see. Thank you for making our stay such a happy and memorable one

  • "The apartment is absolutely stunning and exceeded our expectations."

The location is second to none with the views from the balcony being the best we have ever experienced. The apartment is cosy and quite "quirky", which we really like. Very comfortable main bedroom and it was fantastic to hear the waves at night. We had pretty good weather during our stay but even if the weather is poor, just sitting reading a book, while looking out to sea, is so relaxing and therapeutic. We loved it so much, we are going back next year for 2 weeks!

  • "The location of the property is excellent and the caretaker Paula was very welcoming and helpful."

The only quibble we had was the lack of anywhere to hang or store clothes. There are no wardrobes or drawers in the bedrooms! A simple clothes rail would have made all the difference. However overall we loved our holiday in Buncrana.
