The property

This welcoming, semi-detached cottage is situated in the village of Tullaghan, which lies along the Wild Atlantic Way on Leitrim’s 3-kilometre stretch of coastline, the shortest coastline of any county.

Cradled between the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean and the iconic slopes of the Dartry Mountains, the cottage has been lovingly decorated and furnished to offer a superb touring base for families or groups of friends wishing to spend some quality time together in one of Ireland’s most stunning coastal regions.

This cottage is situated in a quiet development, and boasts a fitted kitchen with dining area and French doors to the cosy sitting room, where you can curl up and relax by the fire after a day of walking or cycling.

Upstairs, there are three bright and comfortable bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room for added convenience during your stay.

The cottage benefits from unspoilt views of the roaring Atlantic, and there are a plethora of coastal attractions on your doorstep including the traditional seaside resort of Bundoran, home to surf, sand and fun.

The sandy beaches of County Sligo are only a short drive away and some of the best include Mullaghmore, Streedagh and Rosses Point.

Why not venture north and discover Donegal’s delights?

Try out your head for heights at the Slieve League sea cliffs or visit the charming town of Ardara where you will be guaranteed a warm Irish welcome!

The list of activities here in the North West is endless including Glencar Lake and waterfall, the Gleniff Horseshoe walk, Donegal Castle, and Queen Maeve’s walking trail up Knocknarea Mountain.

The small village of Tullaghan lies on the coast of County Leitrim, the shortest coastline of any county in Ireland stretching three kilometres between Sligo and Donegal.
