  • "This quiet setting overlooking Portsalon Bay is ideal for families, with very little traffic, The house is one of five or six white buildings off road, gated from that small road."

The lounge / dining area is comfortable and roomy. The bedrooms warm, and the kitchen has enough equipment for our needs. The conservatory, not heated in the cold months, will be an asset as the summer season develops. It's a great base for exploring beautiful Donegal.

  • "Beautiful clean house in a safe location within walking distance to stunning beach."

Having toilet beside downstairs bedroom was great for my elderly mum. Big living room. Views of beach from sun room so relaxing. Beds very comfy. Didn't need to put on heating as the weather was warm enough. Kitchen cupboards/cooker/oven all very clean.

  • "In a fabulous location."

Facilities good. Needs updating a little internally. Sunroom was great but needs blinds as it was just too hot at times to sit in when the sun was on it.

Vielen Dank Paul !

  • "The cottage was really lovely."

Unfortunately the kitchen was not upto scratch, with dirty shelves in the cupboards, utensils put away with good still attached and rice in the back of the microwave. Also there were greasy finger marks on most of the downstairs windows and the tv screen. We did mention it to the owner when he rang to make sure we would haul the bins to the road and he seemed to think it was 'alright' when he was there.

Conveniently located within walking distance to the beach. Lovely house with fantastic views of both beach and mountain. House was clean and comfortable and provided all amenities for a family of five. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to play. Will definitely be back.

  • "We had a most enjoyable week in Colbha."

It is a very comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting and suited us ideally. We like to walk and Colbha is a great base for strolls through the mostly quiet rural roads and, being near to the beach, we could have the occasional swim or just admire what must be one of the nicest beaches in Ireland, Ballymastocker Strand. Other attractions eg Downings or Donegal Boardwalk are only a short drive away. Meals in the nearby Portsalon Golf Club were much enjoyed. We intend to have a return visit.

Well placed to tour around Fanad Head, Mulroy Bay, Lough Swilly and further afield, great beaches all around the area as well. Directions from Paul to the cottage were spot on. All in all we had a great holiday, even with the great Irish weather.
