  • "Cosy traditional Irish home"

  • "The owner was very nice and extremely helpful The cottage itself was also really nice, but if there were more than the 2 of us the sitting room would feel cramped."

It could actually only seat 4, so we were fine. More could have been made of the outside area.

  • "We met Pat at the property he quickly showed us around."

On having a proper look we were not impressed by the cleanliness or lack of. There is only seating for 4 in the lounge which is bizarre for a 6 berth cottage. As for the spacious garden and bbq, no garden furniture and a rusty bbq. As a family who had taken our dad to Ireland to revisit we were very upset and disappointed, so much so that we only stayed 2 nights and had to pay for another cottage elsewhere.

  • "The property itself was ok but lacked a homely touch."

The heavy lounge furniture was too big for the room - blocking off doors and peat burner so we had to continually move it around - not an easy task. Just a thought - the lounge needs coffee table/s. The only space to sit in the open was a big disappointment. There was a rusty old bq and the “garden” wasn’t in good shape at all. We definatly would not return.

  • "Excellent location, close to Lidl and Aldi, approx 15 min walk from the centre."

The house is well equipped, just a few metres away from the riverside walk, which we enjoyed immensly. Great woodburning stove too, very warm house. The only complaint I'd have is the level of cleanliness. The floors need mopping and spider webs need to be removed. Other than that, it's a great spot.

We were met by the owner who had put on a lovely fire for us arriving. Close to Lidl and Aldi for shopping, only a 10 minute walk and your in the centre.

  • "Well-equipped house that suited us very well, as it was very convenient for the supermarket and not far from the main town."

The owner promptly sorted the key delivery and helped us with our stay. The single beds in one room were a bit too soft and uncomfortable but we managed. Lovely peat fire in the living room.
