  • "We really enjoyed our stay at 3 Harbour view."

It is a great house, however a few things could have made it a superb holiday house. As in other comments, we agree that there is inadequate seating for the size of the house. Website boasts how it is suitable for 10+ people yet there are only seats for 6 in the living room and at the dining table. This was frustrating as we were unable to sit together comfortably. There was also a lack of kitchen supplies... dinner plates and baking trays and bowels for cooking especially. A few arm chairs for reading scattered around would also vastly improve this house. It is beautiful in so many ways. But it is misleading to advertise as suitable for larger groups due only to supplies not size. The house was very comfortable and clean and beautiful views and location. It really could be perfect with just a few extra supplies.

  • "We loved the house and area."

The views were spectacular and the house was clean. More living room furniture for a large group would be nice. The kitchen also could be better stocked. Our vacation was perfect as Donegal is beautiful- but you overcharged us $200. ($200 more was put in my credit card than the bill listed on VRBO). I contacted you several times and had no response and finally had to contact VRBO. I still have not been reimbursed. I would recommend this house highly but overcharging and not responding is not good for business; I have used Sykes Properties before, an English company I believe, and this is a big business with no interactions or awareness of Irish culture or what happens when you rent America home or go to a Band B. In other Irish homes, you find tea, breads and items for a warm welcome from the owners. Americans have come to expect this warm welcome after a long flight and drive as this is a part of the Irish warm welcome. Sykes is buying lots of beautiful Irish properties, and in my opinion, taking lots of Irish charm out of the experience.

  • "We had a great stay at No 3!"

!!! Beautiful location and beautiful house! Would love to go back and would recommend to friends and family! The steep climb up the hill is well worth the View! On arrival house was very clean and tidy! Not a pin out of place! However, if I was to be fussy in the living room, the house can sleep 10-11 people but there are only sofas to accommodate 6 people, we weren't all able to sit together at night to watch a movie, which was disappointing. Plenty of space in the room for more furniture. Ample carparking space but tricky area to play foot ball, we lost 3 balls :)
