  • "Highly recommend staying here, the house itself is huge and very comfy with all you need for cooking/washing clothes."

.. Kids loved the big garden outside. We had a family get together, loads of space for everyone, nice comfy couches. Your literally 15mins away from so many beautiful beaches (portsalon is fab, downings is a drive on beach) there's, pitch and putt /foot golf close by, rockhill caravan park has area 50 for kids lots to do in there, there's go karting not too far away. Also if you drive to letterkenny there's areana 7 for rainy days/cinema/soft play areas. There's magherabeg Leisure centre 20mins away for swimming. Wildlife park about an hour away! Seriously loads to do with kids, lots of restaurants and bars in Milford which is 15mins drive , and there's a couple of places in kerrykeel too which is closer again about 10 mins drive. There's also horse rides across the beach in the town of Carrigart. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay will definitely be back

  • "Mulroy view is one of my favourite places!"

House is absolutely stunning with a breath taking view to wake up to every morning. Everything is clean and very good facilities including a hot tub bath to relax in after walking all day… the house is only 5 mins drive to numerous beautiful beaches. Hugh is a great host, very friendly and helpful and always on hand for anything you need, nothing is too much trouble. Will def be back again and again ! :)

Thanks Rebecca for your lovely feedback. Delighted you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Property Owner

Well stocked and pleasantly warmed for our arrival on a cool March afternoon. Extensive garden with beautiful views over the water to the front and hills to the rear. Would definitely consider another booking if visiting this wonderful part of Donegal.

  • "We booked our 2 night stay to spend time as a family after my brother and his partner returned from Australia for a 3 week holiday after almost 3 years."

In total there were 8 adults, 5 kids and dog. I am not one to leave reviews after staying somewhere but we all felt we needed to share how positive our experience was. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The house was clean, warm and well equipped with everything we would need and there was lots of space for everyone. The views surrounding the house and the grounds were amazing. We would definitely recommend for families to book and stay.

  • "We had a fantastic week, the house is very spacious and the garden outside is fabulous, party of 13 including 3 young children."

Few beaches close by and Milford close enough as well for shops etc which was great. Would highly recommend. The only thing we found difficult at times was there was a lack of essentials such as large baking trays, pots and baking condiments for such a large group. That aside we had a fantastic week and Hugh was great at helping with any small snags we had.

  • "This house was amazing, we had a party of 12 we were there celebrating a golden wedding anniversary for my Mum & Dad and we had loads of room."

The house is huge and the facilities are fantastic. There is loads of room around the house, amble room for kids to play football etc. The house is perfectly located for sightseeing and there are some beautiful beaches a few kms from the house. I would highly recommend this property and I cant wait to book it again.

  • "We really enjoyed our holiday in this house."

It was just as described and we definitely want to return. It is in a quiet area with breathtaking scenery. Hugh was helpful and friendly when we contacted him with queries. The house is warm, well equipped and the beds are comfy. My only criticism is the house needed a deep clean. It’s obvious it does get cleaned and tidied, but I could tell the bedding on one of the beds hadn't been changed, there were hairs in the shower & crumbs in the cupboards etc. But overall our group of 14 had a relaxing enjoyable experience, and already want to go back.

  • "This was our second visit to Mulroy View & won't be our last."

We just love this property & location. We had a family party of 13 so there was plenty of room for all of us without being on top of eachother. With a few little tweaks ie coat hooks in the hallway & on backs of bathroom doors this property would be perfect. Looking forward to our next visit

  • "The home is wonderful for a large family holiday!"

Lovely views and the house has a great layout done up to a high standard. It was always lovely and warm and there was plenty of space to cook, eat and relax together. Only very minor negatives, it could do with a few more kitchen utensils/cooking dishes and there was no hairdryer.

  • "Booked Mulroy View for a get together of 3 families."

The property was fantastic, set in the most beautiful location. Beds and living areas all very comfortable. The only issue we had was not having any wardrobes to unpack clothes. But when we were leaving the owner said he hopes to get them in this year. The garden was a big bonus. The space is huge and with the front gate closed, a great area for the kids to run around and explore safely. We enjoyed trips to the lighthouse and Glenveagh National Park, all close by. A great area for cycling too. Would recommend this house to anyone wanting to get away to a beautiful part of Ireland and stay in a warm, comfortable, modern house. We're hoping to go back again next year!

  • "Will miss my morning view which was amazing."

The property is set is a huge plot with a big garden for the kids to run about in. It is very tranquil looking out onto the bay and surrounding hills. The house was fabulous and had plenty of space for all the kids/teenagers to do their own thing as well as plenty of bathrooms (which was needed having 5 teenagers although surprised to find teenage boys can take longer in the bathroom than girls :)). The owner Hugh was great with a few small issues we had and sorted everything out right away. Would highly recommend to families and/or group of adults for a week away to chill and relax. There is also a fabulous beach a few miles away where kids can surf and a pitch and put which they also enjoyed.
