  • "The cottage was as described, and was very cosy."

It was very well equipped with everything we needed. The only thing I would suggest would be to fit some grab rails in the shower and next to the toilet as this would have helped my father who has limited mobility. Absolutely stunning area, especially the Boat Strand, ideal for swimming and water sports. Will definitely return.

The nearby beach and dunes were beautiful and also quiet. There are plenty of beaches around within 5-10 minutes drive as well as shop/pubs. The owners are super friendly and we would highly recommend this cottage.

Couldn't ask for more. Owners are pure gold- helped me out when I got my car stuck- the whole family standing out in the rain in sympathy until they got me sorted. Would go back in a heartbeat. Loved the house, the location and even the schizophrenic Donegal weather.

  • "Mullaghderg Banks is a comfortable, cosy cottage close to a beautiful, almost deserted beach."

Although this beach is not suitable for swimming, there are others within a few miles which are safe and equally attractive. The house was clean and well equipped for 7 adults, though the closeness to the main road could make it unsafe for young children. We enjoyed plenty of walks, climbing Errigal, visiting Glenveagh National Park, swimming and exploring nearby beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a fantastic part of Donegal.

  • "Area was beautiful, house was very cold when we arrived February need the heating on for our arrival took about 2 days to heat up."

Furniture was different from pictures on the website. Needed toilet roll holders and towel rail in upstairs bathroom and towel rail in downstairs bathroom and somewhere to put clothes while in the shower as leaving them on the floor is a no no. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay in beautiful Co Donegal. Mrs. C MacDonald

We had such a great holiday and will definitely be back to see more of beautiful Donegal.
