Malin Head on the Inishowen Peninsula is famous for being the most northerly point in Ireland. It is home to some of Ireland’s most beautiful rugged coastline and stunning sandy beaches, which together provide ample fishing opportunities and a haven for birdwatchers, artists, photographers, walkers and golfers. The picturesque area has even been taken advantage of and used as one of the filming locations for Star Wars. Take a walk up to Banba's Crown, the most northerly headland in Ireland, and take in the spectacular scenery and stunning views, which on a clear day, stretch for miles around. A walk around Malin Head is just over five miles and takes a little over two hours so why not stop off for a refreshing drink at Ireland’s most northerly pub and enjoy the views?
