Tuck into breakfast, lunch and dinner in the welcoming dining room, enhanced by an attractive open fire and also offering a pair of binoculars so you can look out to sea.

Enjoy many nights of fun with your loved ones in the wonderful sitting room, a period open fire allows you to enjoy the homeliness of Jam Cottage no matter the time of year.

The owners also have you covered for the sunnier days, take a seat on the enclosed lawn and enjoy an ice cold drink and a delicious barbecue.

A short distance away is the coastal village of Annalong, it provides a couple of shops as well as two pubs serving food, one of which is a seafood restaurant and overlooks the village's quaint harbour.

Alternatively, Kilkeel, Newcastle and Newry are all close by and ensure fabulous visits with their array of amenities and much to see and do.

Outdoor enthusiasts can explore the Silent Valley Mountain Park for a landscape of breath-taking undulating countryside, hills and mountains.

The pretty fishing village of Annalong sits at the foot of the Mourne Mountains in County Down, Northern Ireland. It provides two convenience stores and two pubs, one serving seafood and overlooking the village's harbour. There is also two cafés and two takeaways. Nearby, head five miles south along the coast to the well-stocked town of Kilkeel, or seven miles north to the attractive seaside resort of Newcastle. The wonderful city of Newry is also within driving distance and is certainly worth a day trip as it provides a wealth of amenities as well as a museum and much more.
