  • "The property was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay."

However the listing noted both shop and pub within a few minutes walking distance and was a key reason for choosing the cottage. However this was incorrect with both about 3 miles / 15 mins drive away which was very disappointing. Would suggest this is changed so the listing is accurate.

  • "A wonderful cottage set in beautiful surroundings, nice and roomy with a great open fire."

Great garden with views of the mountains. We hired a car as its set in a rural part of Kilkeel, and took us around an hour and half to walk to the town one day (great scenery along the way). The Owner was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much.

  • "We had a very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts."

The cottage was warm and comfortable. The only issue we had was finding the place. We stayed in Callahans cottage but the address and directions given to us were for the group of Hannas cottages, so we had to call and get someone to point us to the right place. After a very long day travelling this was very frustrating. Other than this we had a lovely time and would recommend to others
