  • "We had a great time at 27 Pinewood."

The house is warm, cozy and very well equipped. The location is great with a lovely view over Carlingford Lough and a short walk to the town centre, and it was extremely clean. We received a lovely welcome from Deirdre and Aiden, and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend staying at 27 Pinewood.

  • "A lovely clean and spacious house with everything you need for a comfortable stay."

The kitchen is very well equipped and the owners had kindly stocked the fridge with some essentials, which we very much appreciated as we arrived a short notice on a stormy Sunday evening. The views from the house are fantastic. It is a short walk to Warrenpoint which was very convenient with a good range of shops, cafes and restaurant. There is a lovely waterfront walk in the town and it is an ideal location for exploring the beautiful Mourne mountains and coast with lovely seaside towns. I would highly recommmend it as a great family holiday base.

  • "Wonderful views close to local amenities and Newry 7 miles away."

Very spacious, more so than pictures and description indicate. Very clean and comfortable and a very useful welcome pack. Spacious rear garden. Plenty of storage space but some cupboards are packed with owner’s personal items. Plates and glasses are old and mismatched and need updating/replacing.

  • "This bright, very spacious, comfortable property was both well equipped and spotlessly clean."

Our host made us feel welcome with some unexpected treats, texted to check that all was well during our stay, and unobtrusively took care of things during our stay - grass was cut, bins were rolled out for collection for us etc. The photos if anything do not do the property full justice! The house was bigger than we expected, had such a lovely outlook, and felt so peaceful, we were very relaxed. The location is great - lots of fantastic walking available locally, cafes, restaurants and bakeries within an easy walk from the front door of the house, and we had day trips to Belfast and Dublin - loads to do within easy reach, and a great sized kitchen to enjoy cooking in. A really great holiday, thanks so much Deirdre!

  • "We had a lovely stay in Warrenpoint last month."

Views from the house are terrific whether it's clear and sunny or stormy or wet. Lovely welcome pack on arrival with cakes, bread milk cheese etc which was enjoyed by all. Good facilities although the electric oven was a little difficult to work out! Warrenpoint is a good base to travel around from. TIP: If you have an EV car there is a charging point in the car park down by the harbour where you can leave the car overnight.

Everything we needed. Great views. Comfortable beds. Easy walking distance of the town. Had a great week. Deidre the owner was friendly and easily contactable. Nice welcome pack. Great base for Mourne Mountains and the border is very close so can visit the Republic. Warrenpoint is a lovely town. Can’t say anything bad about our holiday and will return to this property. Would recommend a visit.

There were 6 of us (ranging in ages from 4 to 78) and we all had a wonderful time. Deirdre, the owner of the property, couldn’t have been more helpful before we arrived and the bungalow was a real home from home, having everything we needed and more, with beautiful views over Carlingford Lough and was spotlessly clean. Thank you! We hope to return again soon.
