  • "I liked this cottage and it`s location very much."

Mr Prendergast was very helpful and friendly. The facilities were very good, although the use of a washing machine would have been very helpful. If i come over to this part of Ireland again I would`nt hesitate using this cottage again.

  • "Landlord very friendly and helpful."

Really comfortable cottage, nice and secluded with lots of birdsong. Great base for touring the Burren and west of Ireland, but lovely local walks and cycle routes too.

About the location

Galway City 18 miles; Burren National Park 19 miles.

A picturesque seaside village in south County Galway, Kinvara is located on the edge of the world renowned "Burren" on Galway Bay. The entrance into Kinvara is marked by Dunguaire Castle, where medieval banquets are still hosted, and the quaint harbour still holds working examples of 'Galway Hookers', the majestic sailing craft which used to sell their wares between Connemara & Kinvara. Home to numerous pubs, shops and eateries, with a renowned farmer’s market every Friday and hosting two festivals celebrating culture and heritage each year, there is no shortage of things to do here. The small city of Galway, affectionately known as the “city of festivals”, with its pretty alleyways and colourful nightlife is within easy reach, and 7 miles away is the Burren National Park and Nature Reserve where animals and plant life are abundant, and there are numerous walking opportunities. A wonderful location, at any time of the year.
