It is central to many of the attractions in Counties Mayo and Galway, but up to 60 miles away on good roads. Ballinrobe is good for food shopping in Tesco, Aldi etc. For those who like driving, these places are well worth the journeys. The house itself was amazingly comfortable, even for large parties.

The place was tastefully furnished and it was great to have a fridge that we could actually put things in! I was ready to move in permanently! The location is picturesque and Ballinrobe is a terrific travelling base with great grocery shops at hand. There were a few tiny things that would improve things further - in all the bathrooms - somewhere to hang towels and clothes, toilet paper holders. The bedside light in the master bedroom "hummed" when on and the other side of the bed could have done with a table and light. No curtains didn't bother us, its lovely to wake up in the country mornings (there are blinds).
