The views across the bay are lovely. Cleggan is a great base for exploring Galway as there are lots of places to visit in the area such as Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, & Inishbofin Island as well as some beautiful beaches, loughs and even a fjord! There is even a local bus to take you into Galway City. Teresa King is a very warm and welcoming host who left milk, bread, butter & even a packet of biscuits to get us started on our Galway holiday. If you love spectacular scenery, good food (especially sea food) and a friendly welcome then Cleggan & County Galway is the place for you.
