  • "Sykes themselves were difficult to get in touch with."

The timing for check in and check out is ridiculous and using covid as an excuse didn't actually make any sense. To expect a young family with a baby to check in at 6pm is nonsense and to expect the family to also pay for that full day is asking too much. Making this worse your customer service was all over the place. Standardised responses, no human thought. Lucky for us the host of the home was a lovely understanding person who helped us out when your team couldn't. The cottage itself was lovely, really cosey, great facilities. We had a ball with our kids and the local area is just fabulous. So relaxed after our stay.

  • "We spent a wonderful week at the cottage where we did not miss anything."

The location of the house is very quiet, but still with a good connection. Also the landlady was very friendly. For all, who want to live a little quieter, we can recommend the house.

  • "This is a beautiful home just outside the village of Claddaghduff."

A car is necessary although there are walks to beaches and along the coast. The owners live next door and are always available for help and advice if needed. The garden is glorious. This house is suitable for a peaceful holiday but is also in a good position for exploring the wider area of Connemara.
