There was enough space for everyone. Beautiful location, great starting point to explore Connemara, Mayo & Galway. Fantastic cycling routes. Direct access to the lake and fantastic views from the property. Una was very nice and welcoming host - thank you. We hope to go there again. Lovely that owners left milk, buns and fruit etc there on arrival and that a lot of useful consumables in full supply ie. Tin foil, dishwasher tabs, fairy liquid etc. Couple of things to note: There are no hooks anywhere to hang 16 wet coats! Could do with a bigger or double oven when cooking for a full house. There is no real lawn for children to play on. Premises isn't overly secure for a dog as a regular sheep in the garden and cattle grid at end of drive that is full of mud -gates left open. In all, an excellent, well equipped house right in the middle of a very rural Ireland. We had a great weekend in this lovely house, it was nicely decorated and cosy. There was even a little welcome package with snacks, tea, coffee, and fresh fruit that was a very nice touch. The owner met up with us in Clonbur and showed us to the cottage, she was friendly and made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our time in this place and its beautiful surroundings, and wish we could have stayed much longer!
