Very comfy cottage with stunning views. Great base to explore Co. Mayo and Connemara. We would absolutely recommend the cottage to anybody who wants to spend a week at Ireland's beautiful West Coast and wants to "get away from it all". Area offers everything to hikers, bikers, divers, mountaineers and generally to people loving the great outdoors. Cottage exactly as described. Only tiny little minus: We rented cottages in Ireland, Scotland, Wales before and it was always good to meet the owners or at least the caretaker. We never met anybody apart from David, the nice guy from down the road to cut the grass, but that didn't cause us any problems. It was just nice to meet the people who owned the palce we rented in the past is all. Altogether great week at Carraig Ban! Markus Klenk & Family, Bavaria, Germany
