  • "Lovely cottage exactly as described right on the beach, easy access and owner met us shortly after arrival."

Explained everything in detail. Clean and tidy cottage. Had to contact owner a couple of times about problem with hot water and dvd player. On both occasions these were dealt with satisfactory and extremely quickly. Comfy rooms and furniture. Our only comment would be that a normal size freezer would make the stay easier as able to do one big shop rather than lots of little ones. However it should be noted that one is not listed in the facilities so it shouldn't have have been expected. Just a little bonus if it was. Perfect position, easy access to main roads and tourist attractions. Hope to return.

  • "Lovely Cottage Superb views."

Only one thing was the lack of DVD player which would have been good , as the reception on Television at night was not good. This probably , wouldn't matter if we had not been visiting in Winter. However , this is minor, compared to the Wonderful Holiday we had .Would recommend and visit again. Thank you.

  • "This cottage is superb."

Nothing in front but sea nothing behind but mountains. So many places to visit nearby, we ran out of time. The two local pubs offer brilliant food at decent prices. We all slept really well after coastal walks, especially the dog. The welcome was very warm, with a bottle of really welcome wine. So quiet. We went in September but were really lucky with the weather. The cottage is very well equipped, warm and cosy. If you want to get away from it all, stay here.

  • "Really enjoyed staying in the cottage."

We were in a perfect location looking at the sea every morning and having lots of walks on our doorstep. It was really cold some of the nights so the electric blankets were amazing. Perfect set up for our family with the open plan kitchen, dining, sitting room. We would definitely stay again and thank you so much for having us.

Across the bay are the mountains of Mweelrea and Croagh Patrick, and within easy reach are Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, and Inishbofin Island, not to mention numerous walking and cycling routes, sea cruises, angling trips and much more.
