“Think the general areas need a tidy up.”
By this I mean the grass everywhere needs cutting and some of the overgrowing vegetation needs cutting back. However this I assume, is the fault of the estate manager rather than the owner. The local hotel/restaurant is really close and the food is good. The lock also needs fixing on the shed where the rubbish is left. Again the fault of the estate. Lovely view from the house and the lounge in particular is pleasant to sit in a just look at the view. Met the owner and he seems a really nice man. The house is good as described, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Convenient for driving to other parts of Roscommon, Longford, Sligo, Westmeath.- Mr Gerety, September 2019
“Fabulous house and great location”- Mr Sheehan, July 2019
“Rita and John are lovely people.”
Rita greeted us on arrival to check if we needed anything and to show us the accommodation. The accommodation was well equipped and perfect position for touring around central Ireland. The views from the accommodation’s beautiful window were relaxing looking over harbour along side The Shannon. Yes I would love to go back there. The only reconsideration would be there is no shower cubicle, only showers over the bath. I took my 89 year old mother who had to struggle but as she is quite fit we did manage. We would go back again just to meet with owners who were very welcoming.- Mrs Brennan, June 2019
“We were unsure about booking a holiday in the middle of Ireland, away from the coast, but the land and the history was fascinating, and the people so friendly.”
On top of that, Dublin is in easy reach for a day trip.- Dr Ashdown, August 2017
“No, the holiday was very good and then reason why we would not re-book the property is, we like to go to different locations each year.”- Mr Doyle, June 2017
