The property

Ross is a pleasingly furnished cottage enjoying a peaceful and secluded location in the countryside of County Clare, two miles from the Irish fishing village of Kilbaha.

Along the Wild Atlantic Way surrounded by luscious walking country and with the beautiful Loop Head peninsula at your fingertips, bring your friends and family away to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Much of Ross' comfortable living space sits on the ground floor, here you will find the welcoming sitting room dominated by an enticing exposed stone fireplace housing an open fire for the chillier evenings in front of the TV.

Close to this comes the bright and airy kitchen/diner, a real homely layout with a well-appointed and useful kitchen, a stunning little breakfast bar for that pick-me-up morning coffee, and a light-filled dining area joined by extra comfy seating.

Three of the five bedrooms at Ross also sit on the ground level, all are decorated splendidly and have access to the attractively tiled shower room.

Head upstairs to reveal two pleasant double bedrooms resting comfortably under the eaves, both enhanced by light-filled Velux windows with far-reaching views towards the stunning coast.

Relax among this serene rural location by taking a refreshing drink out to the garden, engulfed in superb undulating countryside views.

Enjoy a wealth of stunning walks and cycle trails nearby.

Nearby Kilbaha is home to two friendly pubs serving food, the perfect spot to unwind after an exhausting day of exploration.

About the location

KILBAHA, COUNTY CLARE

Kilkee 13 miles; Kilrush 21 miles; Miltown Malbay 21 miles.

With heart-stopping views and panoramic seascapes, Kilbaha is the last village on the peninsula of Loop Head in County Clare. The village also boasts views of Kerry Head and the Brandon mountains in the distance. Kilbaha nestles in a western bay on the Shannon Estuary and boasts a picturesque pier which dates back to the 19th century. The pier was built to cater for the floods of fishermen, and seaweed gatherers, and to help the navigation of the large ships that were making their way up the Shannon River to the docks in County Limerick. Supplies to the Loop Head lighthouse were also brought in from the large cargo vessels. The village of Kilbaha and the Loop Head Peninsula offer some of Ireland’s most stunning drives and breathtaking views. The friendly seaside village of Kilkee is also a short drive away, definitely worth a visit!
