  • "Our holiday was at the end of the Beast from the East and as you can imagine it was cold cold cold."

The owner Margaret endeavoured to make the cottage warm before we came, putting the heating on and lighting the fire. She welcomed us to the cottage and gave us a mine of information in order to do touring of the surrounding areas and letting us know about all the points of interest and how to plan getting there. We enjoyed the perfect countryside and darling cottage to the max for the week, needing the break from the city life and wanting some Husband and Wife time with our two dogs we found that this was the ideal setting for us. I would 100% recommend the cottage for couples wanting to take time with each other, but also for those who what an ideal start point for exploring Ireland. Thank you Margaret and Pat it was wonderful! xoxo

  • "Very nice cottage."

Brilliant hosts. Very comfy. Quiet place and good location to explore the „ancients East“. Suitable for couples. Very romantic. Für deutsche Gäste: sehr hübsches Cottage. Sehr komfortable. Ruhiger Platz und guter Ausgangspunkt für die Entdeckungen des historischen Ostens der grünen Insel, der anders als die wilde Atlantikküste ist, aber dennoch viel zu bieten hat. Meinem Eindruck nach findet man dort viel mehr vom eigentlichen Irland als an den touristisch vermarkteten Orten.

  • "The cottage was fantastic with a brilliant location."

The only small negative was that the shower head definitely needs replaced as it was nearly impossible to have a shower for duration however there is a bath. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking a relaxing break to recharge their batteries.
