It really was a home from home with all the facilities you would ever need. It was set amongst beautiful countryside, complete with stables, where we were lucky enough to witness the birth of a foal during our stay. Pat, the owner, was a great host. He greeted us at the property on arrival and showed us all around. We had access to everything at the property. Nothing was too much trouble for Pat, he was always very helpful. We loved spending time having a chat with Pat over a nice cup of tea. His partner, also called Pat, was a lovely lady who welcomed us to Maifield with delicious fruit scones on our arrival. They were a lovely couple who made us all feel extremely welcome. We all felt very much part of the family while we stayed there, and it was an absolute pleasure.
