    “Mum was born in the village so we enjoyed our stay,although there were a few issues.”

    ..firstly can i just say that the key holder was very helpful and made every effort to sort these issues.....1.no hot water in the bathroom,and hot tap on handbasin loose,and therefore that room could only be used as a toilet,which meant 4 people sharing the small shower-room...2.there was a large wasp nest outside the window which meant we couldn't open the windows nearest to...and 3.the garden has been neglected and was very overgrown and untidy....For us, it wasn't the end of the world, we ...

The coastal town of Sligo is just over an hour away and offers wonderful attractions such as galleries, seaweed baths, boat trips on Lough Gill, hill walking and much more.

The Thatch will provide you with wonderful olde world charm.

Legan is a small village in County Longford in Ireland. The surrounding area is made up of beautiful countryside with fantastic walking opportunities. Ballinamuck was once the site of the Battle of Ballinamuck and there is a local heritage centre which houses an interesting exhibition of the events of the battle.
