The cottage is in a perfect location close to Westport but very quiet and secluded, it was exactly what we wanted.

What a lovely quaint place to stay for a few days. Close to Westport and lovely countryside surround & plenty of parking. The house itself has a lovely charm to it with a solid fuel stove in the kitchen with backboiler and an open fire in the sitting room. We were quite cosy with both fires going which heated up the radiators for the night. Fuel was even provided to get us started just in case we hadn't brought any with us, which we were then able to replace over the weekend. Great charm and character to the place. We especially appreciated the little touches: a robe and some slippers were provided (the floors are mainly stone tile). There were plenty of throws and blankets and even hot water bottles available. There was a map in the kitchen with pinpoints pointing out recommended tourist locations. There were tourist guide books and other books provided. The owner was great at contacting us in advance and seeing to any needs - we needed a travel cot for a baby, and this was easily accommodated. Would happily stay again.
