  • "Andelon was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children."

It is very modern and perfectly clean. Cleanliness was our main priority when choosing accommodation this year with Covid 19. Everything we needed for our stay was available. Catherine and Ian were very friendly, helpful and a great source of information regarding local facilities, services and tourist attractions. Our kids loved Ballina. It has a fabulous play park and Belleek Woods is beautiful and perfect for family cycling and walks. Inishcrone beach is an easy drive. All in all a great base for a family holiday

  • "The accommodation was just just perfect for us whilst visiting the area on our first visit to Ireland."

We received a friendly welcome from Catherine & Ian. We had a busy week driving around the area and the apartment was just what we needed when arriving back so we could relax and have a peaceful nights sleep. If you don’t want to go out for the day the chance to chill at the apartment is there and if weather is good you can always sit out in the patio area. Not far from Ballina itself where there are plenty of places to shop, eat, drink etc. Make sure you do visit some of the areas around Ballina especially around the coast line it’s amazing especially Downpatrick Head. We also visited Ceide Fields which was interesting and we had a very pleasant time spent there and finished up by having something to eat in the lovely cafe too. Westport, Belleek woods & Castle, Enniscrone, Kilala are all good places to see and if you are interested in the history side of things The Jackie Clarke Collection in Ballina is very good. Thank you for making our first stay in this area of Ireland a good one. Would highly recommend this property.

  • "Had a lovely stay at Andelen cottage on the outskirts of Ballina."

You are about 2km from the town centre. Catherine and Ian were lovely hosts, and could not do enough for you. The house itself was decorated to an extremely high standard only having recently been converted to a self catering cottage. You are well placed to tour the surrounding areas, and Ballina itself is a good base with lovely restaurants, pubs, shops and a cinema as well as fishing and other outdoor activities.
