  • "We recently stayed and were amazed at the standard and value."

We've stayed in a lot of cottages but this was on another level. Kathleen was the best host we have encountered. Very welcoming and helpful. She embodied the 'cead mìle fàilte'. The house was clean to a standard that beats most 5 star hotels. Great location as well. I couldn't recommend this enough. We'll be back for sure

  • "Our family are just back from a wonderful relaxing time in Cartron Cottage."

We were welcomed with open arms by our lovely host Kathleen. The cottage itself was inviting, warm, spotlessly clean and full of charm. It’s kitchen was stocked with all the essentials , along with homemade treats courtesy of Kathleen herself. The cottage location is ideal for exploring the countryside, there’s so much to see and do. It also made for peaceful evenings sitting outside and a great nights sleep. It was like a home away from home, and Kathleen made us all feel like old friends. It was everything we could have asked for and more, we would highly recommend a stay and will be back again.

Thank you for your positive feedback Claudia. It was my pleasure to host you all at Cartron Cottage. Thank you for keeping my cottage in immaculate condition. I would highly recommend you to any host, you were a fantastic guests. KIND regards, Kathleen Kins Regards Kathleen Kind Regards, Kathleen Property Owner

  • "We have just spent the most idyllic week in Kathleen's cottage, this place is the epitome of an old style Irish cottage."

All the charm of an old Irish cottage together with the comfort of modern day living. Kathleen herself is without doubt the nicest host I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I cannot recommend Cartron Cottage enough, the only downside is of my own doing insofar as I didn't book a longer stay. I will without doubt be making a repeat booking here... Absolute heaven. Kathleen is a wonderful lady who takes incredible pride in making her guests feel most welcome. I feel like a friend now.
